CryptoBot ("the App") is developed and operated by Rodane Mcdonald ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use CryptoBot.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.
All data generated by your use of CryptoBot — including but not limited to API keys, trading strategies, trade history, Guardian trust scores, backtest results, and application settings — is stored locally on your Android device. We do not have access to this data.
Your Kraken API key and secret are encrypted using the Android Keystore system and stored exclusively in the App's local storage on your device. They are transmitted only directly from your device to Kraken's API (api.kraken.com) via TLS-encrypted WebSocket and HTTPS connections. We never see, store, or transmit your API keys to any third-party server.
We strongly recommend creating trade-only API keys with withdrawal permissions disabled. The App actively warns against enabling withdrawal permissions and enforces this recommendation during setup.
CryptoBot connects to the following external services:
api.kraken.com) — for market data, order execution, and account queries. Your API keys are sent directly to Kraken. Kraken's privacy policy applies to data processed by Kraken.CryptoBot does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or tracking frameworks.
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties because we do not collect any user data. There is nothing to share.
Your data is secured by your device's own security mechanisms — screen lock, file system permissions, and Android's sandboxed application model. API keys are additionally encrypted via Android Keystore. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a strong screen lock.
Because all data is stored locally, a factory reset or app uninstallation will permanently delete all CryptoBot data, including API keys and trade history. The App does not offer cloud backup for this data.
CryptoBot is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL and reflected in the App's Legal section. Continued use of CryptoBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
